Moissanite Halo Engagement Rings
A halo frames the center stone with a ring of smaller stones. The frame adds sparkle and makes the center look larger than its carat weight, and a double halo adds a second frame for even more. Many of our halos continue the sparkle onto a pavé band, some split the band into two or three rows, and floral and vintage designs shape the halo into petals or scalloped edges.
Halo accent stones are moissanite on some rings and cubic zirconia on others, around a moissanite center. Each product page lists the stones. A halo sits wider than a solitaire, so a curved or open band often fits more closely beside it. Our wedding band guide explains the options, and our guide to engagement ring settings compares halo with hidden halo and solitaire.
Moissanite Halo Engagement Rings FAQ
Does a halo make the center stone look bigger?
Yes. The frame of small stones reads as part of the center from a distance, so the stone looks larger than its carat weight. A double halo makes the effect stronger.
Are the halo stones moissanite?
On some rings, yes. Others use cubic zirconia in the halo around a moissanite center. Each product page lists every stone.
Will a straight wedding band sit flush with a halo?
Sometimes there is a small gap, because the halo is wider than the band. A curved or open band can close it, and a bridal set comes with bands made to fit. See our bridal sets.
How do I clean a halo ring?
Soak it in warm water with mild dish soap for 10 to 15 minutes, then brush gently under the halo with a soft brush, rinse and pat dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, which can damage gold plating. See our care guide.
