A full eternity band carries stones all the way around. A half eternity band sets stones across the top and leaves the palm side plain metal. Channel bands hold the stones between two walls of metal, and bezel bands wrap each stone in a thin rim of metal, so both sit close to the finger.
To build a stack, start with your engagement ring and add a band on one or both sides. White, yellow and rose gold plating can be matched or mixed. What is the difference between full and half eternity bands?
A full eternity band has stones around the entire band. A half eternity band has stones across the top only, with plain metal underneath. Both come in white, yellow and rose gold plating.
Should my band be the same size as my engagement ring?
Usually yes, since both sit on the same finger. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one. Our ring size guide has the full chart.
Can I exchange a band for another size?
Yes. Size exchanges are free on all rings. Email voice@carissie.com with your order number and the size you need, and we will send instructions.
How do I keep a pavé band sparkling?
Soak it in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 10 to 15 minutes, brush gently with a soft brush and pat dry. Every 2 to 4 weeks is enough. Skip ultrasonic and steam cleaners, which can damage the plating. More in our care guide.
